the privilege double room upgrade at check-in was a nice surprise. i found the hotel bed to be comfortable. the gardens were magnificent and featured plenty of areas to relax and explore. i definitely hope to visit again.
during my stay, i noticed the gym was unavailable. this was disappointing, as i had planned to use these facilities.

my room had a clean, modern bathroom. i had plenty of space in the privilege double room. the room provided all necessary amenities i needed for a comfortable stay.
The breakfast had many options. It featured both English and European choices. The spa and sauna offered extra relaxation (I especially liked the sauna). The surrounding area included lots of greenery. a glimpse into the past.
The rooms need some upgrades.

my room had a balcony with a great view of the lake it was room 135. the room was also spacious and clean.
the room phone was not connected it was a small issue. i also noticed the toilet did not flush properly it needed maintenance.

the grounds were quite nice I will say.
The room felt past its prime. the bathroom had some questionable mold along the shower screen. It just didn't feel clean. the included breakfast was a total letdown I think. It seemed understaffed and the food selection was pretty weak.
